l. Radio Station ZQI Log Books (1939 – 1950) – These relate to radio programmes broadcast during that period

m. Maps and Plans - These records constitute maps of the island and plans of buildings, roads, sewage and water systems. Some of these have dates attached while others are not dated. Included is a map of Jamaica dated 1888 and a plan and profile of tramway line from Barry Street along West St to West Street Kingston for 1897.

COURT RECORDS (1A/)
These are records from the courts of Jamaica and are in addition to those court records from the Island Secretary’s Office.

Chancery Court Records (1676 – 1843) The Court of Chancery was established in Jamaica in 1663 and was abolished in 1879, when its records and jurisdiction were transferred to the Supreme Court. These are the earliest existing court records. Cases include land disputes, frauds, default in mortgage payments and administration of properties. Each case usually ran for a period of five years or more with the first hearing referred to as a “Bill” and ends with a “Masters Report” or a “Decree” which was a final hearing.
