3.       Statutory Bodies/Semi-Public Records (3/) - There is one index for these  records which are produced or received by quasi-government organisations with statutory authority.  The organisations include The Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation (JBC), Jamaica Banana Producers Association, Jamaica Railway Corporation and Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ).

4.       Private/Gifts & Deposits (4/, 7/) – This collection has many indices. The records are comprised of private papers which have been donated to the Archives by various individuals and organisations. They include correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks, postcards, programmes of events, minutes of meetings, journals and photographs. A wide variety of subjects relating to the cultural and historical aspects of Jamaican Life are covered.  Individual collections include the Norman and Edna Manley Papers and the Tyndale-Bisco aerial photographs.

5.       Ecclesiastical Records (5/) – There is  one main index for this collection which consists of church records pertaining to the Church of England (Anglican), Presbyterian, Baptist, Moravian, Methodist, and the United Congregation of Israelites. They include Ordination of Ministers, Consecration of Churches, Baptismal Registers, correspondence, photographs and programmes of events.
