The Act for the Abolition of the Slave Trade was passed by the British Parliament in March 1807 and is therefore a British Act. It is therefore not recorded in the collection of Acts at the Jamaica Archives. However in view of the relevance of this Act to Jamaica and the other former British territorities in the region, a copy of this Act has been placed on our website.
