It is awe inspiring to see such a development in my country's repertoire; to have the ability to sit with my son and show him documentary evidence of Jamaica's vibrant history, without travelling, is exciting. Thanks JARD!!

I am really pleased to see that the GOJ is committed to providing information to the public. The information is here. It is up to us as citizens to access it and inform ourselves about the issues that affect us as a nation.

I extend congratulations to the staff of Jamaica Archives and Records Department for keeeping the Records Management disciplne going in Jamaica. This site is really a dream come through for the Department. I can say this from the fact that I too shared this vision when I was a part of of the staff. Even though there is still more work to be done, together we will work toward a world class Archive. :)

I am doing a research paper from a cultural perspective and came across the website purely by accident. I have requested information that will be useful for my paper and hope I get some feedback soon. Thanks for taking JA one step further into this century!
